Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies usually within the genre of martial arts and horror. genre, which is roughly comparable to The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as some morbid pleasure from these films. After gaining some fame in the forums that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) She began to review in late 2009. She remained on the site until mid-2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She has two podcasts co-hosted and also covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
