Her birth date was 29 March 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Her name was Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico as the daughter of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. The mother of two is a Mexican by blood however she has an American nationality. Her passion for sports started as a young kid. Gerina was a golfer for the first time at the age of 15. Gerina went to Goddard High School. As a high-school student, she had won in the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. She was a volleyball player and was also a participant in state tournaments. 2003was the year she started studying in The University of Texas. She took home all the competitions she participated in during her final years. In her undergraduate time, she was awarded her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and Female UTEP athlete of the year.
